Brian Jones, DPT.
Doctor of Physical Therapy. 18 years of clinical experience across university and professional sports settings before founding Virtual PT Hawaii, including work with World Surf League athletes. Brian has trained hundreds of Doctor of Physical Therapy students, treated thousands of patients from post-surgical recovery to elite performance, and co-presented clinical seminars alongside a Harvard MD. His clinical work spans ACL reconstructions, rotator cuff repairs, post-concussion return-to-play, and the full range of orthopedic and neurological conditions.
He started Virtual PT Hawaii because the standard PT clinic model — 30-minute slots, rotating staff, hands-off home programs — wasn't producing the outcomes patients deserved. The evidence has long pointed to one-on-one care, evidence-based exercise prescription, and consistency. That's the practice he wanted to run. Telehealth made it possible to build it correctly from scratch.
Brian is licensed in the State of Hawaii. He oversees every patient's care personally — your evaluation, your radiology, your imaging review, your prognosis, your program, your progress. The agents on the team handle scheduling, intake, billing, daily check-ins, and the platform itself. The clinical decisions land on Brian's desk.

Virtual PT Hawaii is the clinical practice — Brian Jones, DPT, providing real, insurance-billed Physical Therapy in the State of Hawaii. Operating entity: PTX, LLC dba Virtual PT Hawaii. HIPAA-bound. Licensed. Credentialed with ten major payers and counting.
KinematiX is the technology platform the practice runs on — the motion-capture analysis, the agent infrastructure, the scheduling and intake automation, the daily check-in system, the home exercise prescription engine. Brian developed KinematiX to deliver evidence-based Physical Therapy at scale.
KinematiX is also available as a standalone consumer app at kinematix.app for people who want the platform's exercise tracking and movement tools without going through a clinical practice. That's a separate product, a separate entity (KinematiX, LLC, in formation), and a separate billing path. It is not a substitute for clinical care and we're explicit about that distinction throughout both products.
